Events & Community Engagement

A major part of GrowPlants PK has been our involvement in community events and initiatives across Lahore. From markets and educational institutions to residential communities and private celebrations, we have taken our plants beyond the online space and brought them directly to people.

We believe that events provide a different kind of connection. Online, people can see a plant, ask questions, and place an order. At an event, they can actually see the plants up close, touch them, compare different varieties, ask questions about their care, and discover plants they may have never encountered before. This direct interaction has become an important part of how we introduce people to the world of cacti, succulents, and exotic plants.

Where we’ve been

Markets, schools & celebrations

From community markets to classrooms and private occasions, we bring unique plants into real spaces across Lahore.

01

Haryali Market

One of our most prominent event experiences has been Haryali Market, a community focused event organized around plants, sustainability, local businesses, and bringing people together.

Our participation at Haryali Market gave us the opportunity to showcase a diverse collection of exotic cacti and succulents to a much wider audience. It allowed people to explore plants that are not commonly found in traditional plant markets and to learn more about their characteristics, care, and suitability for homes and urban spaces.

For us, Haryali Market was not simply about setting up a stall and selling plants. It was about becoming part of a larger community that shares an interest in greenery, sustainability, and creating a stronger relationship between people and nature.

02

Schools & Educational Communities

We have also participated in events at different schools and educational institutions, where we introduced students, teachers, and families to the world of cacti, succulents, and other unique plants.

School events are particularly meaningful because they allow us to engage with younger audiences. Many students are naturally curious about unusual plants, and seeing different shapes, textures, colors, and growth patterns can turn that curiosity into an interest in plant care.

Through these events, we have had the opportunity to demonstrate that plants do not have to be limited to large gardens or outdoor spaces. Many of the plants we work with can thrive in relatively small spaces, making them suitable for homes, balconies, study areas, and even office desks.

03

Local Communities & Private Events

Our involvement has also extended to different residential communities and smaller local events across Lahore. We have participated in events in Bahria Town and other communities, allowing us to reach people in their own neighborhoods.

We have also been involved in smaller private events, gatherings, and weddings, where plants have been used as part of the event experience or as gifts and decorative elements.

These occasions show us that plants can become part of many different aspects of everyday life. They can be a hobby, a gift, a decoration, a conversation starter, or simply something that brings a little more life into a space.

Why it matters

What Makes Our Events Unique

One of the things that gives our presence at these events a distinctive character is the uncommon nature of the plants we bring.

Cacti, succulents, and exotic plants are still relatively uncommon in many Pakistani households. People often recognize the basic idea of a cactus or succulent, but they are surprised when they see the variety of shapes, forms, colors, and species that exist.

This naturally creates curiosity. People stop, ask questions, take pictures, and often discover a plant they have never seen before. In this way, our events become more than a conventional plant selling experience.

We want people to leave an event having discovered something new. Whether someone purchases a plant or simply learns about one for the first time, that interaction contributes to the larger purpose of GrowPlants PK.

Community

Our Role in the Community

Across markets, schools, communities, and private events, our goal remains consistent: to make plants more accessible, interesting, and relevant to modern urban life.

Every event gives us another opportunity to introduce people to plants that they may not normally encounter and to demonstrate that developing a relationship with nature can begin with something as simple as bringing one small plant into your home.

Through these experiences, we are gradually building more than a customer base. We are building a community of people who appreciate, understand, and care for living things.
